The harbor is alive with seals, porpoises, cod, clams, crab, bald eagles, and a wide variety of land and water birds. We have resident otter and mink families, and "Freddy" the seal right at our resort.
Fishing
For the ardent angler or the occasional fisherman, Seascape Resort is just minutes away from the World Famous Tyee pools of Discovery Passage, or the fresh water lakes on Quadra Island.
Diving
Quadra Island features excellent diving waters for both amateur and professional divers. Diving is very popular in the area and tours can be arranged. HMCS Columbia, an ex-destroyer was sunk June 96 at Yellow Island. Quadra Island will continue to be one of the top dive sights on the west coast. Off season and group rates available.
Cruise

If you have your boat, chart your course to the many scenic wonders of the most beautiful marine cruising waters in the world. Explore the bridge-like islands that stretch to the mainland, endowed with harbours, inlets, fjords, snug little bays and coves.
Canoeing
and kayaking
Dip your paddle into the clear calm waters of Gowlland Harbour and explore the natural wonder of the many little islands right in front of Seascape Resort. If you don't have your own boat, we have them for rent or Free for guests (lake boats only).
Yoga
Come try out a yoga class this summer in the Quadragon. Other classes & workshops are offered on Quadra in summer months. Book your own yoga retreat or any type of workshop in the Quadragon.
Relaxation
Get away from the hustle and bustle of today's Rat Race and find yourself in this natural setting... as close to nature as nature itself. You can't help but relax at Seascape.

Spit Provincial Park is a wonderful place to take the
family swimming and beachcombing.
- Whale watching, grizzly bear watching tours to the Bute Inlet.
- Hiking trails, lakes and woods to explore, an excellent museum at Cape Mudge Indian village and well stocked stores and restaurants.
- A one hour drive takes you to Johnstone Strait, world renown for its whale watching. View the majestic Orca killer whales in their natural habitat.
- Golfing is very popular and excellent courses in Campbell River area. Quadra Island has just completed a 9 hole course course.
